Introducing our Family Reference Group

We are pleased to welcome our new Family Reference Group (FRG) who met for the first time on 13 February 2020. Led by Board Member Trish Fowler and our Clinical Services Manager Susan King, the FRG includes:

  • Bec Vittiglia-Collins – Parent
  • Jane Fry – Parent
  • Barbara Goodwin – Parent
  • Shellie Martin – Parent
  • Jemma Neal – Parent
  • Gemma Stephens – Parent
  • Sarah Pfaff (Clinical Coordinator)

The FRG has been established to help ensure our service and supports remain family-centred and meet the needs of children with life-limiting conditions and complex needs, and their parents/carers.

The FRG will provide a consultation forum for reviewing procedures, adding new services and supports, discussing incidents and events, and to provide recommendations to help Hannah’s House continuously review and improve our programs.

Each member brings a wealth of lived experience raising a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and complex needs. Parents in this collective have also experienced the loss of a child or have a child under the Palliative Care Team at Perth Children’s Hospital.

Big thanks to these busy families for giving up their precious time. We look forward to sharing their work with you during the coming year.
