On Saturday 20 May, the stunning QT Rooftop Bar, Perth was buzzing with excitement for the Hannah’s House High Tea. This fundraising event aimed to provide respite for the mums of Hannah’s House while raising vital funds to provide care, comfort, and joy to children with life-limiting or complex conditions.
Guests were treated to an indulgent high tea experience with champagne on arrival and a mouth-watering array of delectable treats. Adding an element of excitement and engagement to the afternoon was an array of entertainment, prizes, and a silent auction.
The event boasted an impressive line-up of special guests. Internationally renowned mindfulness expert Tenille Bentley captivated the audience with her own story of grit, grace and gratitude. MC Tim Collins (@100percentthattim) had the audience laughing, while the sounds of musician Coby Grant provided a beautiful backdrop.
Hannah’s House Chair of the Board, Anne McCormack welcomed the glamorous crowd, and CEO, Jonine Collins, expressed her gratitude to event partners Perth Families Giving Back and all the attendees and supporters. The funds raised at the event will support Hannah’s House in providing in-home care and other support services to children and young people aged from birth to 18 years who are facing life-limiting and complex conditions. The ultimate goal is to help these children and their families live the best quality of life possible.
Hannah’s House is a beacon of hope for families navigating the challenges of caring for children with complex medical needs. The event served as a reminder of the power of community and the incredible impact that can be achieved when people come together for a common cause.
As the high tea drew to a close, attendees left with smiles and full hearts. The success of the Hannah’s House High Tea serves as a testament to the kindness and generosity of the Perth community, showing that together, we can make a difference.
