Lightscape Kings Park

Get ready to be part of something extraordinary. For the very first time, Lightscape is coming to Perth. This internationally acclaimed sensation of light, colour and sound will be using the beautiful gardens of Kings Park as a canvas from 16 June to 30 July 2023.

Begin your journey beneath tree canopies illuminated in colour, walk under larger-than-life flowers and into twinkling tunnels. School’s Out Winter Fest

Dates: Saturday 1 July – Sunday 16 July 2023

An epic indoor winter carnival is set to take place from 2 to 17 July in the very heart of Perth. Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will come alive as it hosts Schools Out Winter Fest. Experience the magic of skating on ice, wonder at falling snow, and enjoy special snow-themed carnival rides and entertainment – all for one all-inclusive ticket price.

The Freestyle Kings Live Show is coming to Perth at the RAC Arena on the 8 July 2023. This is an action packed show featuring world class freestyle motocross athletes, get ready to strap yourself in for a 2 hour spectacular.

NAIDOC Week 2023

This year, NAIDOC Week falls in the July school holidays. To celebrate, most shire libraries are running programs such as story times and art activities throughout the week. Booking is essential as there are limited numbers for each event. Each shire has its own library website with more information.

DinoFest Perth – Age of the Tyrannosaur

Dates: Friday 24 June – Sunday 16 July 2023

DinoFest is an exciting, outdoor event that specialises in Tyrannosaurs. It’s ideal for families with young children under eight years old. DinoFest includes a Dinosaur Trail with a life-size T. rex, a magical 45-minute dinosaur encounter with ‘real’ walking dinosaurs, and awesome dino activities… there’s also a quiet session for neurodiverse children.
