Perth Royal Show (25th September – 2nd October)

AWESOME International Children’s Festival (23rd September – 27th September)

The AWESOME International Children’s Festival brings together captivating performances, workshops and installations designed to ignite children’s imaginations. From puppetry to storytelling and interactive theatre, the festival offers a diverse range of creative experiences that will leave young minds inspired and enthralled. A few multisensory shows to note for the little ones:

  • Sea of Light 26-30 September at PICA
  • Space Music 28th and 29th of September at the State Library
  • Sensorium Theatre are running two of their shows, choreographed for children with complex needs
  • Wonderbox 26th-27th September and Ten Tiny Things September both at the State Theatre

Scitech: Toddlerfest (18th September – 26th September)

Scitech, Perth’s renowned science and technology centre, presents Toddlerfest, a series of interactive and playful science-based activities tailored for children aged 2 to 6. With hands-on experiments, interactive exhibits and engaging workshops, Toddlerfest is designed to spark curiosity and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning in the youngest members of the family.

Kings Park Festival (1st September – 30th September)

Kings Park Festival is an annual celebration of Western Australia’s unique flora. Throughout September, Kings Park bursts into a riot of colour as wildflowers bloom. Families can explore guided walks, art exhibitions, and outdoor concerts amid picturesque landscapes, making it a perfect opportunity to combine leisure and education in a natural setting.

Maylands Waterland
